St. Jude Thaddeus Church + Crowne Plaza Hotel // Albuquerque, NM Wedding // Josette + Mikal

When I met Josette, I was instantly comforted by her sweetness and her beaming smile.  And as I captured Josette + Mikal upon the Sandia Crest, it was clear that Mikal was smitten with her too.  It's easy to do, you see - to fall in love with Josette... she's delightful.  I quickly realized, though, that it was just as easy to fall in love with the two of them as a couple.  Mikal is kind and respectful, Josette is giggly and fun, and together they are strength and pure love.  

While the wedding day crept closer, I waiting eagerly to spend the day capturing their love.  I was so excited, but what I didn't realize is how much their day would pull on my heart strings and bring tears to my eyes.  Listening to their story, hearing their struggles and how they conquer life hand in hand - it's clear to see that they are each other's rock.  I fell in love with them even more that day, in awe of their gracious hearts and their passion for life and each other.

They began their day at the Crowne Plaza Hotel surrounded by loved ones and pure happiness.  As the day progressed, they traveled to St. Jude Thaddeus Church and vowed to forever, hand in hand, side by side.  The church was filled with happy hearts and mariachi music as they walked down the isle together as Mr + Mrs, and the celebration continued as they returned to Crowne Plaza.  With family and friends and lots of good food, they soaked in that this was the first day of their forever -- and all was so wonderful.
